Position: Distribution Management- Technical Assistant
Starting Date Immediately. Applications accepted until suitable candidates are selected.
Davey Resource Group, a subsidiary of The Davey Tree Expert Company, has opportunities in the field of Electrical Distibution management as a Distribution Management- Technical Assistant. Davey is a leader in Utility Asset Management services, tree care, utility line clearing, and forestry consulting industries throughout the US and Canada.
MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE: ST. LOUIS, MO and Southern, Illinois areas.
DUTIES: These positions involve assisting Utility Management staff with ongoing joint use projects. This position will involve extensive data management on the electric utility distribution systems, as well as visits to the field to verify completion of current projects. This position will be approximately 60% office time, and 40% field verification visits . Technicians will be trained on the existing job prior to assignment to the project. The current position requires a detail oriented individual will excellent follow up skills.

| Skill Requirements |
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A strong working knowledge of computers is required. The ability to work independently is a requirement fot this position. Experience with electric utilities, telecommunications or cable preferred, but not required The ability to read and follow maps. Experience with GPS equipment is a plus. Project specific training of task needs for the position will be provided. Valid Drivers License & Clean driving record.
