The Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands (CEMML) is a research and service unit within the College of Natural Resources at Colorado State University (CSU). CEMML supports the national defense mission by providing professional services and technical support to the Department of Defense (DoD) in conservation, environmental protection, and natural and cultural resources management. CEMML assists military planners, trainers, and land managers in the maintenance of healthy, diverse ecosystems to support sustained, realistic training and testing exercises. CEMML's experience and flexibility allow timely response to a wide variety of resource issues. CEMML operates through contracts with state and federal agencies, individual military installations, and private industry.
